I know there's bubblepack pirates on channel 18 in my locality, and on
other channels here also that they should
not be on.

What do you do when you hear bubblepack pirates.

Not that I would necessarilly do the same thing you would.

I don't know if I would or not.

I just wonder what you all do when you hear bubblepack pirates.

Given this is the very first time I have heard the term "bubblepack
pirate", I don't know.

What is a bubblepack pirate?

Cheers!

Also - are we talking FRS 18 or CB 18?

Switch to a clear channel. Don't worry, be happy. Relax, you'll live
longer.

A "bubblepack pirate" is a name that the 1% of the GMRS population who
call the people who purchase a FRS/GMRS radio and don't bother to get
a license to operate the GMRS channels as it mentions in the
instruction manual. The 1% who are legal because they bothered to get
their license are ticked off at the people who are breaking US law
(not Canadian and Mexican laws).

Neither. FRS is channels 8-14, shared FRS/GMRS channels are 1-7, GMRS
channels only are 15-22 (so sayith Motorola). The last time I
checked, CB radios don't come in bubble packs! :)
